Declan Jordan

Declan Jordan is Professor of Economics at Cork University Business School in UCC, where he is also Vice Dean for Graduate Studies. Declan’s research interests include regional and urban economics, business innovation, regional development and competitiveness, and sustainable mobility and climate action. He was founding co-Director of the Spatial and Regional Economics Research Centre in UCC and is currently Chair of the Regional Science Association International – British and Irish Section. He is a member of the Limerick Mayoral Advisory and Implementation Committee and prior to joining UCC, Declan gained substantial management and corporate experience, including as Treasury Manager with Intel Ireland. He Is a regular contributor to national and International media on economic issues.
