Con Ferry

Con Ferry is a senior education and apprenticeship leader with extensive experience across apprenticeship delivery, systems reform, and organisational leadership. He is currently Director of Apprenticeship with SOLAS, a role he has held since December 2023. In this position, he leads the national apprenticeship team and contributes to organisational strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Prior to joining SOLAS, Con spent over fifteen years with Donegal Education and Training Board as an Instructor, where he was responsible for delivery of apprenticeship phases, assessment organisation, employer liaison, quality systems, and learner support.
Con is a qualified electrician, having completed an apprenticeship directly from school. Following this, Con worked in the fire and security industry as a commissioning and service engineer for almost 20 years.
