Sarah O’Donnell

Project Manager Luas Cork, Transport Infrastructure Ireland

Sarah has over twenty years’ experience in the design and delivery of public transport. As Transport Infrastructure Ireland’s Assistant Chief Architect, she has worked across all major projects – including light rail, metro and active travel schemes – with a focus on urbanism, place-making and sustainable design.
Sarah is currently Project Manager for Luas Cork, leading an inter-disciplinary team in the development of high-quality, integrated, and attractive light rail for Cork City.
She has also headed TII’s stakeholder engagement with User Groups and Disabled Persons Organisations, promoting Universal Design and best practice in accessible infrastructure across all divisions.
Sarah holds professional qualifications in Architecture from Kingston University and University College Dublin, as well as a master’s degree in Sustainable Development from Technological University Dublin.
